Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.
While the Rams had already secured a playoff spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a two-year absence.
With this result, the Seahawks have taken over their Conference race with a 12-3 mark, replacing the Los Angeles, who fell to the number five playoff position with an eleven and four standing.
